My attacks start out with severe sweating followed by severe lower stomach cramps along with bloating stomach. Uncontrollable diarrhea next along with severe drop in blood pressure in the range of 55/palp. I can t sit or stand at that point due to passing out if I try. Typically I attempt to craw to the bathroom for the diarrhea. I also occasionally vomit or feel like vomiting. Along with those issues I am pale and my nose area will look bluish. After that I get cold and have cramping in my legs and hands. I attempt to hydrate as soon as I can. The attacks last about two to three hours. After the symptoms subside I am extremely weak for the next day. I have had these attacks since I was a young boy. Now that I am in my sixties the attacks are more frequent and seem to get worse. I will usually pass out for a few moments and maybe have 4 or 5 attacks per year. I can t tie the attacks to food. I watch my diet and exercise four or five days per week. I am in pretty good physical condition but have been diagnosed with CKD. My kidneys are functioning around 40% and my creatinine level is 1.8. I don t have much warning when these occur.
